Close to the End of Term

We are at the time of the year when we must send out letters so we have the funds to pay for this project next year .

When we commenced thirty months ago, we could on occasions get a Darwin to Brisbane fare for $156.
Now we will pay $450 to get the kids to Darwin and a further $100 on a charter to travel from Darwin to Nguiu.
When we commenced the project we aimed at getting 100 people to give us $100 per year - which is fully tax deductible.

Now we have to set our sights at gathering 250 people for the $100 per year - and we realise this is tough with the economy slowing down.

Next year we will only get the kids home mid-year and end of the year. We are asking the Kenmore parish to billet and we will use the holiday time for Work Experience, to provide a chance to see how Brisbane works and maybe take in a game of AFL.
